Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all purchases made on Pro Resumes by users in India and outside India.

1. Nature of Service

Pro Resumes is a digital service platform. Access is typically provided instantly after successful payment. Because of this, refunds are reviewed according to service usage and legal requirements.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • You may cancel your subscription any time before the next billing cycle.
  • Cancellation prevents future charges.
  • Cancellation does not automatically refund the current billing cycle unless eligible under this policy or applicable law.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be approved in the following situations:

  • Satisfaction guarantee: If you are dissatisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of the original transaction date, subject to fair use (we may decline where the service has been heavily used in bad faith—see below).
  • Duplicate payment or accidental multiple charge for the same order.
  • Payment debited but service not activated due to a technical issue attributable to us.
  • Unauthorized transaction after verification.
  • Any case where refund is required under applicable consumer laws.

Refunds are generally not provided when:

  • The service has been substantially used after successful activation.
  • The request is based on user preference change after content download/usage.
  • Failure to cancel auto-renewal before renewal date.

4. Refund Request Window

Full refund for dissatisfaction must be requested within 7 days of the transaction date, consistent with our pricing and checkout messaging. For duplicate charges or activation failures, contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly. Requests after 7 days may be reviewed only at our discretion or where required by law.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@proresumes.co with:

  • Registered email ID
  • Transaction ID / payment reference
  • Date and amount paid
  • Reason for refund request

6. Processing Time

  • Refund decision is usually shared within 5-7 business days after verification.
  • If approved, refunds are initiated to the original payment method through the same payment channel used at purchase.
  • Settlement to your bank/card may take additional 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or issuer.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank/card network, contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly. Fraudulent or abusive chargeback behavior may lead to account suspension.
